Actor Akshay Kumar celebrated his 57th birthday on September 9. His wife, actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna shared a post on social media, giving a peek into his birthday celebrations and it worth swooning over. Twinkle shared a stunning photo of Akshay and their son Aarav enjoying a tranquil sunset on a beautiful beach, likely taken during their family getaway to the Maldives.
The father-son duo was deep in conversation, making for a beautiful moment captured in time. Twinkle simply captioned it with two heart emoticons – no words needed!

In the picture, Akshay and Aarav are seen dressed in beach shorts paired with casual shirts for their day on the beach. Looking at their photo, fans poured in their love for the two of them. Twinkle and Akshay tied the knot in January 2001. The star couple are also parents to a daughter, Nitara. While Aarav is reportedly abroad for higher studies, Nitara, who will turn 12 this month, is in school.
On the occasion of the actor’s birthday on Monday, the makers of his next film with filmmaker Priyadarshan announced the title of the film — Bhooth Bangla. It will be horror-comedy where he’ll reunite with director Priyadarshan after 14 long years of workign together on Vidya Balan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa in 2007. Produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor, the film is set to release in 2025 and will feature Akshay as a magician alongside three female leads. The cast and crew of the film will start shooting soon.
