When Taylor Swift releases her songs, she leaves traces for fans to guess the names of the exes who treated her badly. Fresh tracks, “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived”, “But Daddy I Love Him”, “Fresh Out the Slammer” and “My Boy Only Breaks His Favourite Toys” from the latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, are hinted at Taylor’s ex-flame, Matty Healy. Fans initially thought that the tracks hinted at British actor Joe Alwyn, whom Taylor dated for six years. However, Swifties later established that the numbers referenced The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, whom the Grammy Award-winning singer dated briefly. Days after the 31-song album came, out Matty was asked to comment on the “diss track” aimed at him.

In a video which appeared on Entertainment Tonight’s Instagram handle, Matty, responded, “My diss track? I haven’t really listened to that much of it, but I’m sure it’s good (sic)” as he walked out of his an apartment building in Los Angeles.

Following her breakup with Alwyn, Taylor had a fleeting affair with Matty, who apparently, “ghosted” her. Swift’s fans, Swifties, called out Healy after he made several derogatory remarks about rapper Ice Spice, as well as women and Japanese people on a podcast show.

The “Somebody Else” singer, in 2023, apologised to Ice Spice, suggesting he didn’t want to appear “mean-hearted”. This was followed by Taylor joining forces with Ice Spice Soon for “Karma.”

Taylor is currently in a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The couple was spotted kissing at the recently head Coachella Music Valley Festival’s Neon Party.
