The song’s music video gives the audience a peek into the lives of a married couple, played by Pratik and Vidya, who are having an extra-marital affair with Ileana and Sendhil’s characters, respectively. The visuals show the couples initially enjoying their individual affairs, however, soon their misadventures turn into a ‘messy affair’.

The makers recently shared the teaser of the film, directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, on their social media handles, which showed the lives of couples indulging in infidelity.  “Married people don’t have sex,” says Pratik’s character to Ileana’s character. The audience seemed to be in love with Pratik and Vidya’s on-screen chemistry. The characters strive to rekindle the fading romance in their relationship, however, fun incidents follow as they get entangled in illicit affairs.

The film, which marks Vidya’s return to the romantic comedy genre, is based on the 2017 American comedy-drama film The Lovers. The film is written by Suprotim Sengupta and Eisha Chopra who have also worked on the dialogues with Amrita Bagchi and will be out in theatres on April 19, 2024.
