Diljit recently performed with Ed Sheeran at his concert in Mumbai. While the fans loved Ed’s performance, Diljit’s appearance came as a surprise as the entire stadium sang along his famous song “Lover.” Ed also sang along and this became the highlight of the evening.

Just a few weeks ago, Diljit had performed at the Ambani pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar. He sang some of his most popular songs and was accompanied by a few Bollywood stars on the stage. Diljit performed on the second day of the pre-wedding festivities after Rihanna took the stage on the first day.

Diljit will soon be seen in the Hindi film Crew, with Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon. He will also be seen in a lead role in Imtiaz Ali’s next Chamkila, with Parineeti Chopra. Imtiaz previously said that it was important for him to cast actors, who are also singers. He told News 18, “It was mandatory for me to cast actors who are singers as well. It was important for them to sing live. This film wouldn’t have been possible without them. It’s not like Diljit didn’t train a lot like Parineeti did but he does live singing and is used to it. They both recorded the songs after singing them live. The reason behind this is that I’ve never had singers singing live during a shoot. I thought that in case the live singing doesn’t work out, we can always use the recorded version and use it as playback like we usually do.”
