The video is being widely circulated online and it has Rajinikanth watching the trailer in his house. The actor looks elated and proud about the way the film has shaped up.

Lal Salaam stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles and has music by AR Rahman. Lyca Productions has bankrolled the project, a part of a film deal signed by Rajinikanth two years ago. The trailer of Lal Salaam suggests that it is all about religious harmony. Vishnu Vishal seems to be playing the role of a Muslim villager, who faces discrimination because of his religious identity.

Other than the two actors, Dhanya Balakrishnan, Senthil, Ravi Kumar, and Thambi Ramiah are other actors part of the film, which is all set to be released on February 9.
Rajinikanth, meanwhile, is in Hyderabad for the shoot of his upcoming film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavelraja. The film, also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh, will be released in the latter part of 2024. Superstar will then team up with Lokesh Kanagaraj for a yet-untitled film.
