Salman Khan recently attended the Joy Awards which took place in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, January 20. Salman took to his Instagram to share a group photograph from the event which was also attended by Alia Bhatt and many Hollywood bigwigs, including Anthony Hopkins, Salma Hayek, Zack Snyder, John Cena, and Anthony Anderson.

At the ceremony, Alia Bhatt received the Honorary Entertainment Makers Award. Sharing the photo, Salman simply tagged Turki Alalshikh, who happens to be a pivotal figure in Saudi Arabia’s cultural transformation and the chairman of the country’s General Entertainment Authority.

Salman’s fans are going gaga over the post. A user wrote, “Wow !! JOHN CENA AND SALMAN KHAN IN SAME FRAME ❤️,” while another fan wrote, “@beingsalmankhan one of the greatest actors in cinema history. I feel proud to be in a world with Salman Khan in it ❤.”

Earlier Alia had shared her photos and video from the event. British cinema and stage veteran Anthony Hopkins too had shared a picture with Salman Khan on social media and said he was honoured to meet the Indian superstar at the Joy Awards in Saudi Arabia. Hopkins attended the ceremony on Saturday in Riyadh, where he received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The two-time Oscar winner posted a picture with Salman Khan, who presented Egyptian actor Essad Youniss with the Lifetime Achievement honour at the awards, on his Instagram Story and wrote, “It was an honor to meet you @beingsalmankhan #JoyAwards #RiyadhSeason.” A video of Salman meeting and posing with Hollywood legend Anthony Hopkins was also shared on social media.

On the work front, Salman Khan is currently hosting the TV reality show, Bigg Boss 17. Salman was last seen in the film Tiger 3, and his next film is titled The Bull, backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Vishnu Vardhan of Shershaah fame.
