The wait is finally over for the Indian fans of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. The actor will be make making his Bollywood comeback with a romantic comedy titled Abir Gulaal where he will be seen sharing screen space for the first time with actor Vaani Kapoor.
Fawad Khan has been away from Indian cinema for around 8 years since the ban on Pakistanti artistes after the 2016 Uri attack.
The film is set against the picturesque backdrop of London and will commence shooting on September 29. The film is directed by Aarti S Bagdi. Sharing about the film’s storyline, he shared in a statement that the film explores the journey of two individuals who unintentionally help each other heal, with love blossoming as an unexpected consequence.

The makers also excited about Fawad’s massive global fan base, and thus anticipate that audiences will wholeheartedly embrace this film. As per the makers, the film will showcase Fawad in his most endearing role yet.
The team is also looking forward to the chemistry between Fawad and Vaani. The film is produced by Vivek B Agrawal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy.
The film will be shot in the UK in October and November. The team also shared that a leading Bollywood music composer has already created six original tracks for the film which will be sung by Bollywood’s best music talent.
