Singham Again trailer: Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s most-anticipated film, Singham Again, is slated to hit theaters on Diwali. Ahead of its grand release, the makers have excited fans by dropping an action-packed trailer on Monday. The film stars Ajay Devgn in the lead role, alongside Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Deepika Padukone. Arjun Kapoor takes on the role of the antagonist, while Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh make cameo appearances as their characters from the franchise—Sooryavanshi and Simmba, respectively. Salman Khan’s iconic Dabangg character, Inspector Chulbul Pandey is also expected to have a special appearance in the film.
The Singham Again trailer kicks off with Avni Kamat (Kareena Kapoor) narrating the tale of the Ramayana to her and Bajirao Singham’s (Ajay Devgn) son, describing how Ram traveled 3,000 kilometers to rescue Sita. Later, Singham channels Lord Ram when Avni is abducted by Arjun Kapoor’s character, Danger Lanka. Declaring, “History will repeat itself, and Rama will burn Lanka for one vachan,” Singham sets off on a mission. Jackie Shroff’s character, who calls Danger Lanka “a storm of fire,” warns Singham not to underestimate him.
Ajay Devgn’s Singham enlists the help of Shakti Shetty (Deepika Padukone) to rescue Avni. In the trailer, Deepika showcases high-octane stunts and thrashes goons as she claims the title of “Lady Singham.” Notably, Deepika was pregnant with her daughter during the shoot. Tiger Shroff makes a grand entrance and is referred to as Laxman to Singham’s Ram.

Ravi Kishan appears as a politician in the film. As Singham prepares for a covert operation on foreign soil, he receives support from Simmba, while Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi steps into the role of Garuda, playing a key part in rescuing Avni. In classic Rohit Shetty style, Sooryavanshi makes a dramatic entry, landing from a military chopper.
The trailer ends with Ajay declaring, “Tere samne jo khada hai woh Mahatma Gandhi ka adar toh karta hai par pujata Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ko hai (The person who is standing in front of you respects Mahatama Gandhi but worships Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj)”.
Singham franchise and the cop universe
The Singham franchise kicked off with the first installment in 2011, which starred Ajay Devgn and was a massive success at the box office. It was followed by Singham Returns in 2014, again featuring Ajay in the lead role. Ranveer Singh joined the franchise in 2018 with Simmba, while Akshay Kumar joined as Sooryavanshi in 2021. Earlier, Ajay shared a video compilation celebrating all the heroes who have been part of the Singham franchise.

Singham Again marks the debut of Tiger Shroff and Deepika Padukone in the franchise. Additionally, it will also be Deepika’s first film release after giving birth to her daughter in September.
Singham Again is set to release in theaters on November 1, where it will clash with Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, and Vidya Balan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office.
