Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, said that she would like to be invited as a guest on Koffee with Karan, but turned her nose at the idea of participating in Bigg Boss. She said that she has fielded multiple offers for the reality show, but has no interest in doing the show because she considers it beneath her. She said that she isn’t struggling financially, and that a person of her stature should instead be anchoring the show.

Appearing on the Time Out with Ankit podcast, Sunita was asked if she would like to go on Koffee with Karan as a guest, and she said, “I’m waiting for an invite.” Asked if she’s irritated at not being invited so far, she replied, “Why would I be irritated? It’s his show, it’s up to him who he wants to invite. Although if he invites me he’ll certainly attract ratings! Karan’s also a Gemini, so am I. We’ll have a ball.”

Asked if she’d ever do Bigg Boss, Sunita replied, “They’ve been making me offers for the last four years. For the OTT version as well, the one hosted by Anil Kapoor. They came to me twice for that, and I told them, ‘Are you mad? You think I clean toilets?’ You ask me this question, but tell me, would you ask Shah Rukh Khan’s wife the same thing? Do you think we’re struggling financially? I don’t even watch Bigg Boss.”

She said that the producers made offers not only to her, but also to her daughter, Tina. “I told them, ‘Do you even know who you’re talking to right now? Come to me if you want me to host alongside Salman Khan’,” she said. Sunita began dating Govinda when she was just 15; they got married when she was 18, and she gave birth to Tina when she was 19. They also have a son, Yashvardan Ahuja, who is gearing up to make his acting debut.
