TV actors Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi may have found themselves loyal shippers charmed by their on-screen pairing on the show Barsatein- Mausam Pyaar Ke, but the former has denied reports that he is set to tie the knot with her. There were reports that the co-stars of the popular were taking their relationship to the next stage and getting engaged.
News reports had claimed that the duo met on the sets of the show in 2023 and fell in love, stating that they were now ready to make their relationship public and get engaged, thereby making it official.
But that doesn’t seem to be the case–at least as of now. Kushal took to Instagram and made fun of the reports, writing that he was in Thailand for his martial arts training. The actor also attached a picture of himself from the ring.
“Yaar media wallloooo Ek bhath bathaooo, meri engagement horahiiii hain, our muje he nah pata? I am here in Thailand training my martial arts. Aisaaaa kaiseee karletheee Hoon aaap log, atleast thoro tho authentication news ki rahkaaaa Karoo mere bhai log? Ye apkeee source hain kaun (Hey media, I am getting engaged and I don’t even know? How do you guys do this? At least keep the news authentic. Who are these sources)?” he wrote.

Shivangi Joshi also took to her Instagram page to refute the reports and shared a post which read, “I love rumours. I always find out amazing things about myself I never knew.”

Kushal and Shivangi starred on the romantic drama show Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, which concluded in February earlier this year. The Sony TV show was backed by Ekta Kapoor, where the duo reportedly fell for each other.
