New mom Anushka Sharma recently celebrated her 36th birthday and now, her cricketer husband Virat Kohli has shared a sneak peek into their celebrations. Virat shared the cover of a booklet that read ‘Celebrating Anushka’ with Lupa written under it. Virat also wrote a note addressed to chef Manu Chandra, suggesting that they dined at his restaurant Lupa in Bengaluru.
Virat wrote in the caption, “Thank you @manuchandra for an unbelievable dining experience the other night. Hands down one of the best food experiences of our lives.”

Cricketer Faf du Plessis also joined the couple along with his wife and a few other cricketers. He also shared a photo from the dinner party.

Previously, Virat had shared a birthday post for Anushka where he called her the “light to our world.” He shared in the caption, “I would have been completely lost if I didn’t find you. Happy birthday my love. You are the light to our world world. We love you so much ❤️❤️❤️”

Virat and Anushka welcomed their second baby, son Akaay, in February. Virat took a two-month paternity break and spent time with his family as his son arrived. The couple was reportedly in the UK for the birth. At a recent post-match presentation ceremony during the IPL, Virat said, “We were not in the country. We were at a place where people were not recognising us. Just time together as a family, just to feel normal for two months.” He added, “For me, for us as a family, it was a surreal experience.”
As Anushka recently returned to the country, she requested the photographers to not click the baby, and also requested them to not click her when she was with her children. In a recent interview with Zoom, actor Aamir Ali, who recently shot an ad with Virat, said that he had seen Akaay’s photos and he was a “golu-molu baby.” He also mentioned that it was Anushka’s decision to shield the kids from the photographers.
