The runway is clear for the smooth landing of director Siddharth Anand’s highly anticipated actioner, Fighter, and every piece of promotional material for the film seems to only amplify the hype surrounding it.
Less than three weeks ahead of the movie’s release, the makers have unveiled another short clip from Fighter, featuring the major cast. The 12-second teaser opens with a compelling background score, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in official uniforms inside Indian Air Force jets, ready for a mission.
The promo video asserts “Sky is the limit,” as the cast, including Hrithik and Deepika, shares a lighthearted moment just before duty calls.
The latest video serves as a teaser for the track “Heer Aasmani,” which will be released on January 8. Also starring Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi, the film revolves around IAF officers and will hit the screens on January 25, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend.
In a previous interview, Hrithik Roshan shared insights about his Fighter character Shamsher Pathania aka Patty. He explained, “It’s very interesting as Patty, in many ways, in maturity, and age-wise too, is a little younger than me or how Kabir is. Kabir is more evolved and composed. Patty is young, spontaneous and angry, angry at things that maybe I would not personally be angry at. So, Patty is an interesting space for me because I remember being like that at some point in my life.”
The movie’s music is composed by Vishal and Shekhar, with cinematography by Satchith Paulose and editing by Aarif Shiekh. Fighter marks Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s first movie together. Two songs from the soundtrack – “Sher Khul Gaye” and “Ishq Jaisa Kuch” – have already been released.
