Days after “Queen” Zeenat Aman shared memories about working with Feroz Khan, and revealed that the actor-director had once docked her payment for being late to set, Feroz’s son Fardeen Khan has now reacted to her claims, which she’d shared in an Instagram post.

Taking to the platform on Thursday, Zeenat shared a picture with Feroz, praising the actor and noting that he was the only person she knew who had “rizz”. She recounted the rocky start to their relationship in the ’70s, when she declined a small role in his movie, but later accepted the lead role in Qurbani. In the same post, Zeenat shared a story about being late to the film’s set after partying all night. Feroz, displeased with her tardiness, cut her pay. Despite this incident, she described Feroz as a cool and talented individual, and said that working on Qurbani remains one of her favourite professional experiences.

“…I landed up one hour late to set. Feroz was glowering behind his camera, and before I could offer him my meagre excuse, he cut me down to size. ‘Begum, you’re late and you’re going to pay for the delay.’ No argument, no scolding, but you can be sure that he docked my pay to pay the crew for that one hour delay,” she wrote. She concluded her post by describing Feroz as “suave, charming and polished.”

Fardeen Khan reacted to Zeenat Aman’s post about his father Feroz Khan and the reaction is winning over social media.

While many expressed admiration for Zeenat’s story and her general social media presence, Fardeen took to his Instagram stories to assert that Feroz would have loved her post and laughed out loud if he were alive today.

“Zeenat Aman aunty, if it’s any consolation family wasn’t spared either. We just received the standard family discount of 25% 😁. Khan Saab would have loved your post. He would have laughed out loud 🙏 ,” he wrote.

Known as the “Clint Eastwood of India,” Feroz was one of Bollywood’s most popular style icons and appeared in over 60 films throughout his career. He also helmed eight films, before passing away in 2009.
