Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui on Friday shared news of his hospitalisation via his Instagram broadcast channel. Alongside photos of receiving an IV drip, Munawar wrote, ‘Lag Gayi Nazar.’ While details about his hospitalisation remain scarce, the content creator-turned-actor revealed on Sunday that he is on the path to recovery. Munawar posted a health update photo on his Instagram story.

While sharing the picture, Munawar wrote, “Shukriya itne pyaare messages ke liye. Recovery ho rahi hai, dua karte raho. (Thank you for your sweet messages, I am recovering, keep praying.)” Munawar’s pictures went viral the minute they were shared on social media, and following that, fans started sending him get-well-soon wishes. One of the fans wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Bhai Hope u feel better soon and get back to your usual self with lots of love and positive energy!”

Munawar has been making headlines for the last few months. Earlier in April, closer to Eid, Munawar was caught in the midst of a fight during his visit to Mohammed Ali Road. While he was at the centre of the fight that involved egg pelting, Munawar also lost his cool and later narrated the incident on social media. Before this, the Lock Upp Season 1 winner was detained by the police after he was caught at a hookah parlour that was raided in Mumbai.
On the work front, Munawar Faruqui was featured in a music video with Hina Khan called “Halki Halki Si”. A few days back, he also released the first teaser of his debut web series First Copy.
