Despite receiving positive reviews, Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi’s Do Aur Do Pyaar had a modest start at the box office. However, there was a slight improvement in its collections on its second day, with earnings reaching Rs 85 lakh on Saturday, as reported by trade tracker Sacnilk. This brings the film’s total domestic collection to Rs 1.40 crore.

On Saturday, Do Aur Do Pyaar recorded an overall 13.72 per cent Hindi occupancy. Despite releasing on Cinema Lovers Day and offering a buy one get one offer on tickets, the film managed to mint only Rs 55 lakh on its first day. It released alongside Dibakar Banerjee’s Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 (LSD 2), which fared even worse, collecting Rs 15 lakh on Friday and dropping further to Rs 12 lakh on Saturday.

However, both Do Aur Do Pyaar and LSD 2 failed to attract audiences to theaters during their first weekend. Major releases like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan from the previous week continued to overshadow them, maintaining dominance over the box office. For example, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan managed to earn Rs 1.75 crore on Saturday, according to early estimates.

Do Aur Do Pyaar offers a glimpse into the complexities of modern relationships, inviting audiences of all ages to embark on a journey filled with laughter, tears, and love. Directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta and produced by Applause Entertainment and Ellipsis Entertainment, Do Aur Do Pyaar features Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz, and Sendhil Ramamurthy in pivotal roles.
