But I don’t need a protector,” the teaser of the film Vedaa, whose teaser dropped on Monday, opens with a voiceover by Sharvani Wagh, who plays Vedaa. The scene opens with the actress preparing to become a professional boxer. High on adrenaline, the teaser of the film, which features John Abraham and Abhishek Banerjee, shows the two being pitted against each other. Nikhil Advani’s directorial, which promises action-packed entertainment, also stars Tamannaah Bhatia.

Vedaa’s teaser gives you a peek into how the two actors clash with each other. While John plays the protagonist, Abhishek will be seen as an antagonist in the role of a politician. The film is slated to release on July 12. Vedaa revolves around the life of a young woman, essayed by Sharvani, who goes against everyone to seek justice as John’s character becomes her aid in the pursuit of attaining her mission.
Taking to social media, Abhishek Banerjee shared, “ Iss jung ka ek hi maqsad hai, nyaay haasil karna! Are you ready? #VedaaTeaserOutNow. “Call me an ever hopeful optimist but even I believe that. So when I read the horrific incident that Vedaa is based on, I knew that it had to be told. And tell it so that as many people as possible could see it,” wrote Nihkil who said he is grateful to John “for believing in him” and Shravari “for living this part and this life, without which none of this would be possible.”
From the glimpses seen in the teaser, the film aims to give the audience an action-packed cinematic experience which marries great action sequences and powerful storytelling.
