The ongoing social media trend wherein netizens create reels mentioning or tagging their favourite celebrities and ask them to provide motivation to complete specific tasks has been a hit since the start. From actors Alia Bhatt, Vijay Deverakonda, Kiara Advani, and Tovino Thomas to cricketer Shubman Gill, many celebrities have, over the past few days, become a part of the internet craze and dropped adorable and/or hilarious comments under the posts of people.
Now, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal himself has joined this trend and replied to a few fans’ post, thus winning the hearts of social media users. In a reel, three youngsters could be seen sitting together with biscuit packets in front of them. “If Lalettan comments on this video, we will eat the biscuit,” the note atop the reel read.
On noticing his fans’ request, Mohanlal indeed left a comment on the video. “Kazhikku mone, friendsinum kodukku (Eat it, dear. Do share with your friends too) 😉,” he wrote. Now, both the video and his comment have gone viral, with many netizens expressing surprise and admiration for the Malayalam superstar’s kind gesture.
It must be noted that the biscuit packets featured in the reel are from Craze Biscuits. Mohanlal was appointed as Craze Biscuits’ first brand ambassador in its 38-year history last November. Therefore, it’s uncertain if this post was orchestrated or not.

Mohanlal was last seen in Lijo Jose Pellissery’s epic actioner Malaikottai Vaaliban, which earned mixed reviews and ended up being a box-office disaster. The superstar is currently gearing up for the release of his debut directorial venture Barroz, which is likely to hit the screens in May 2024.
Mohanlal also recently announced that he was joining forces with director Tharun Moorthy, known for his impactful films like Operation Java and Saudi Vellakka, for his 360th project, tentatively titled L360.
