Virtual production studios are emerging to be the next big thing in filmmaking, and the technology is already making a lot of progress in India. One of the leading service providers of virtual production in South India is ANR Virtual Production Studio in Hyderabad and on Wednesday, the studio had a special guest take a tour of the place. Superstar Rajinikanth, who is shooting in the city for his upcoming film Vettaiyan, visited the studio.

A video making the rounds on social media features Rajinikanth keenly discussing the studio with the people present on location. Superstar was seen clad in Veshti in the video.

Superstar Rajinikanth visited ANR Virtual Production Stage in Hyderabad. He showed great enthusiasm in understanding the technology and how it can change the landscape of filmmaking.

Rajinikanth also posed with actor Ritika Singh, who joined the sets of the film.

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film also stars Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan in important roles. Anirudh Ravichander, who had become a frequent collaborator with Rajinikanth, is composing for the film, which will be released later this year.

After Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth will join the sets of Thalaivar 171, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
