Thirty years later, Shah Rukh Khan’s Sunil is still quite a smile generator. The superstar on Sunday remembered his film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, as it turned 30, and called it his happiest film to date.

Directed by Kundan Shah, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa starred Shah Rukh as Sunil, a loveable buffoon trying to win over his love Anna, played by Suchitra Krishnamurthy. The film is often regarded as one of SRK’s finest performances.

The actor took to X and celebrated the 30th anniversary of the film, writing, “I really believe this film is the sweetest warmest happiest film I have done. I see it and miss everyone involved in the film especially my friend and teacher Kundan Shah. To the whole cast and crew thank u and love u all.”

Shah Rukh Khan reposted a tweet from his production house Red Chillies, which called Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa an “eternal favourite” and posted a video to celebrate the milestone.
