Neha Dhupia shares a warm friendship with filmmaker Karan Johar and when she started shooting for the latest season for her talk show No Filter Neha, Dhupia said that it was Johar who was her guiding light. Neha has been hosting the show for five seasons but it was now, in the sixth season, that Neha had to record the show on video and here, she went to Karan Johar for tips. Karan is one of the most famous talk show hosts on television as he hosts the popular Koffee with Karan.
Neha said that her “last phone call” was to Karan Johar as she praised his “generosity.” She said that after her technical check before the shoot, she was “drawing a blank” and that’s where Karan stepped and told her how to go about her interview with Tiger Shroff, who was her first guest on the show. Neha said that people might have pre-conceived notions about celebrities but Karan comes from a “secure place” where he is ready to help his peers.

“To come from such a secure place that you are constantly helping everyone develop their skill and very few people can do it. I mean, hats off to Karan. Literally, for the past four days, I would pick up the phone on him, ask him what is my first point of starting a conversation with someone like Tiger. He was holding my hand through it,” she shared with Bollywood Hungama.
Karan and Neha have been friends for many decades. In fact, Karan was the one who played Cupid in Neha and Angad Bedi’s love story. They are now married with two children. In an earlier chat with Pinkvilla, Angad had shared, “Karan was the person who told her that this person is standing right in front of you and you can have great chemistry with him so you should look at him.”
