Ahead of his 30th birthday, BTS’ Jung Hoseok aka J-hope took to his Instagram handle and shared pictures of posters across Seoul city. J-hope also shared a picture of himself and wished his fans ‘Happy Hope Day.’ J-hope is currently serving in the South Korean military and for his day out, J-hope chose a casual look with a beanie. 

According to reports, fans have organised a cafe event called ‘TO ARMY FROM ARMY’ to celebrate j-hope’s birthday. It’s a way to thank j-hope and show appreciation for all South Korean military members.

Neuron Crew took to their Instagram handle and penned an early birthday note for J-hope. They wrote, “2024.02.18 12AM. Waiting for the day to fly higher like a butterfly.” J-hope used to be a member of Neuron Crew, a dance team from Gwangju, South Korea, before joining BTS. Fans on the internet were excited and speculated if the rapper is about to release something on his special day.

One of the fans wrote, “I think whatever it is we are going to like it, thank you for continuing to keep our hobi in mind.” Another said, “Waaaahhh is this Hope on the Street?? Tysm Neuron for believing in our Hobi. I’m sure Hobi is eternally grateful for you too.”

In 2023, on February 17, HYBE Labels released a documentary called “J-hope IN THE BOX,” directed by Park Jun-soo. It shows J-hope’s life for 200 days, from making his first solo album “Jack in the Box” to performing at Lollapalooza.

All seven BTS members are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service and will reunite in 2025.
