Mithila Palkar recently shared a bunch of throwback pictures from Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan‘s wedding with Nupur Shikhare. Ira and Nupur tied the knot in January. Sharing pictures from the couple’s white wedding ceremony on Instagram, Mithila, who was Ira’s bridesmaid, wrote, “The last lot ✨.”
In the photos, Mithila is seen posing with Ira’s bride squad and Nupur’s groomsmen. The bridesmaids, all dressed in emerald green, are seen accompanying Ira as she walks the isle and then posing for pictures by making a heart sign with their hands.

Ira and Nupur had their registered marriage in Mumbai on January 3, followed by a week long wedding festivities in the city of lakes, Udaipur in Rajasthan. The newly married couple then went off for their honeymoon to Indonesia and shared cute pictures with one another. The two also shared pictures of the matching tortoise tattoos they got as a symbol to their love story.
Earlier, Aamir had opened up about marrying off his daughter and how emotional he got. In a video shared by his PR agency, the actor was seen saying, “My emotion was like a shehnai. It’s an instrument which is actually played in shaadis. Shehnai mein ek quality hoti hai ki wo aapko thodi si khushi bhi deti hai aur thodi si udaasi bhi deti hai. Uska ek mixture hota hai emotions ka. Khushi bhi deti hai aur thodi se udaasi bhi hoti hai (Shehnai has a quality that it gives you happiness and a little bit of sadness. It’s a mixture of emotions. Makes you happy and sad both). So, that’s my emotion.”
