Ravi Teja’s Telugu action film Eagle witnessed a significant drop in its box office collection on Monday. After earning Rs 4.85 crore on Sunday, its third day, the film managed only Rs 1.55 crore on Day 4, according to trade website Sacnilk.

The total collection of Eagle in India now stands at Rs 17.6 crore. The film also boasted a strong worldwide performance, earning nearly Rs 12 crore gross on its opening day. While Eagle saw a slight dip in earnings on its fourth day compared to the second and third day, the film sits comfortably ahead of Lal Salaam, which garnered only Rs 11 crore so far.

Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the movie also stars Kavya Thapar, Anupama Parameswaran, and Navdeep. After being postponed, the film hit screens on February 9 to mixed reviews.

A part of indianexpress.com’s review read, “Eagle has a decent plot. What drags it down is the complicated storytelling and excess verbal elevations. If the audience survives the first half, there is some narrative that is not bad in the second half. The lack of typical Ravi Teja entertainment is another factor that might impact the movie. The absence of a specific villain is also an issue in a commercial film like Eagle.”
