Google-owned platform YouTube has released a list featuring the top 15 most searched music videos in India this year. Encompassing a spectrum of musical genres, from Bollywood and Bhojpuri to desi rap and Tamil film hits, the list reflects the diverse musical palette of the Indian audience.

Topping the list is the Bhojpuri song “Dhani Ho Sab Dhan” sung by Pawan Singh and Shivani Singh. The music is composed by Priyanshu Singh, with lyrics by Ashutosh Tiwari.

Securing the 2nd spot is the track “Tere Vaaste” from the Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan-starrer Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. Composed by the musical duo Sachin and Jigar, the song features vocals by Varun Jain, Sachin-Jigar, Shadab Faridi, and Altamash Faridi, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

The third most searched music video of 2023 is “Zihaal e Miskin”, crooned by Vishal Mishra and Shreya Ghoshal. The song, composed by Javed-Mohsin, features lyrics by Kunaal Vermaa.

Other notable entries on the list include “Kya Loge Tum” (4th spot) sung by B Praak. The 6th position was occupied by Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer’s song “Kaavaalaa”, composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander, along with Shreya Ghosal. The 7th spot was taken by Ravi Teja 2022 film Dhamaka’s hit song “Pulsar Bike”, sung by Bheems Ceciroleo.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’s “Phir Aur Kya Chahiye” claimed the 10th spot, while Vijay-starrer Leo’s “Naa Ready” secured the 11th position. Jasleen Royal and Arijit Singh’s collaborative single “Heeriye” occupied the 12th spot. Salman Khan-starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s track “Naiyo Lagda”, sung by Kamaal Khan and Palak Muchhal, and composed by Himesh Reshammiya, is the 14th most searched music video.

Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, which turned out to be a surprise hit at the box office this year, also made a mark with its music. The film’s song “Main Nikla Gaddi Leke” secured the 15th spot on YouTube’s most searched music videos of 2023 list.
