In the viral video, Munawar was seen raising the trophy in the air while his fans chanted his name continuously. A crowd had gathered around Munawar. Munawar, touched by the overwhelming response, greeted people with a big smile on his face.

Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui won Bigg Boss 17, beating TV actor Abhishek Kumar. Speaking to The Indian Express after his win, Munawar said, “The feeling was unreal, the way my journey has been… that moment was such that I could feel the weight of that trophy. This trophy has cost me a lot, but it is worth it. In the end, what was important was not just taking the trophy home, but a lot many things.”
Munawar faced several controversies during his time on the show, including accusations of two-timing with ex-girlfriend Nazila Sitaishi. Despite these challenges, he won the hearts of Bigg Boss fans and emerged as the winner of the popular reality show.
