Content creator Arun Mashettey aka Achaanak Bhayaanak looked like a very promising personality when he entered the Bigg Boss 17 house. However, he was soon lost in the hustle-bustle of the house. In no time, Arun became a silent spectator in Bigg Boss.
Though many felt that Arun’s entry into the top 5 was sheer luck, a section of the audience believed that he walked in the footsteps of Bigg Boss 16 winner MC Stan. Arun has had the most simple journey, not too many fights, no controversies, just some amazing Hyderabadi charm and savage one-liners.

Even some ex-contestants, especially Isha Malviya, has been very disappointed with Arun Mashettey making it to the finale. In fact, in an interview with indianexpress.com, she shared, “I was expecting to be in the finale, considering the journey I had. I took a strong stand whenever needed, so I was expecting to be in the top 6. I feel upset that Arun has made it to the finale. Everyone else is justified, but my input on the show compared to Arun bhai was much more. This is what I did not like.”

Arun Mashettey has not had too many highlights in the season as he played the game in a very mature way. Yes, he did have some fights with Abhishek, Samarth, and a few others, but that was all about his journey on the show. Some good friends he made in the house were Tehelka Bhai, Jigna Vora, Rinku Dhawan, and Aoora. At the Bigg Boss press conference too, Arun had shared how he did not like to get into every petty fight the contestants had.
With a good amount of luck, Arun reached the finale. However, he became the first finalist to be evicted.
