The Bigg Boss 17 grand finale will happen in a few days. The 5 finalists of this season are Ankita Lokhande, Munawar Faruqui, Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar, and Arun Mahshettey. The most discussed issue this season has been the not-so-rosy relationship between Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain. The tension between the two was on display from the initial week, and the fights only got worse. There were instances where Ankita spoke badly to Vicky, and vice versa. But what left the internet furious was an incident where it looked like Vicky gestured a slap toward his wife Ankita. While the Pavitra Rishta actor denied Vicky indulging in any such action, she has shed a lot of tears due to Vicky this season. There even came a point where the couple discussed if they should get a divorce once the show ended. Ankita even asked Vicky to take a break from the relationship while they were on the show. This continuous tension between the two also led to many fingers being pointed at Vicky during the press conference.

Following the ugly fights between Ankita and Vicky, their respective families had to intervene. During the first visit, Ankita was in for some subtle taunts from her mother-in-law. The family week saw Vicky’s mother taking some potshots at Ankita. Vicky’s mother recalled an incident where Ankita threw a slipper at her ‘devta’ like son Vicky. She said that seeing this, Vicky’s father called Ankita’s mother and questioned the actor’s upbringing. This left Ankita upset, but outside too, it brought the Jain family some serious flak. Ankita received support from many celebrities as well as fans on social media over the remarks she endured from Vicky’s mother, with even Karan Johar slamming Vicky for the same.

After Ankita came of Bigg Boss 17, on various occasions she spoke about Sushant, giving the viewers an impression that she was gaining sympathy at his cost. Even though Ankita said a lot of good things about the late actor, it didn’t go down very well with fans. The backlash got so bitter that Ankita’s mother had to warn her to stop talking about her past with Sushant. Clarifying her stand, Ankita said at the Bigg Boss press conference that she is extremely proud of Sushant and if she can share his goodness with the world, what is the harm in it?

One friendship viewers loved on Bigg Boss 17 was between Munawar Faruqui and Mannara Chopra. From the beginning, people saw a lot of potential between these two. However, things went sour between them over time. Even though Mannara and Munawar were at loggerheads, they always stood by each other when needed, but this strong friendship broke off when Ayesha Khan entered as a wild card contestant. The fans were not very happy with this friendship going kaput. What came as a shocker was when Mannara spoke ill about Munawar’s character. And now in a recent episode, Munawar made a very strong accusation against Mannara when he claimed that she tried to kiss him during the Diwali celebrations, and that made him feel uncomfortable. He even added that it was at that moment that he started to distance himself from Mannara. This left the fans talking against Mannara on social media.

Just when Munawar thought everything was going in his favor in the game, Bigg Boss had other plans. The stand-up comedian’s personal life was dragged on the show like it was a matter of public importance. It so happened that a girl named Ayesha Khan accused Munawar of cheating on her and entered the show as a wild card contestant. She confronted Munawar on national TV and he accepted his mistake. But it didn’t end there. This affected Munawar’s game to a great extent. This move from the Bigg Boss makers was condemned by a lot of celebrities outside and Ayesha was also at the receiving end of some harsh comments. Salman Khan questioned her motive for dragging a personal matter with Munawar on to a public platform. This controversy became one of the biggest ones this season.

Isha Malviya exposed ex-boyfriend Abhishek Kumar’s toxic nature and accused him of slapping her

Right from the first episode, Isha and Abhishek had friction. The two clashed on the very first day, and while all of this stemmed from a past relationship, their journey had various incidents that created an uproar amongst fans. Isha kept poking Abhishek through the season, to add fuel to this fire, her boyfriend Samarth Jurel also came into the house. Isha and Abhishek’s fights continued over several issues, but things took a turn for the worse when Isha accused Abhishek of slapping her when they were in a relationship. She even made fun of his mental health and claustrophobia. This behavior of Isha did not go down very well with fans. In fact, many of her co-stars from Udaariyan, including Ankit Gupta, also slammed her for doing what she did with Abhishek. Later, Karan Johar also scolded Isha for her behaviour.

Samarth Jurel and Abhishek Kumar locked horns several times. But the incident that made headlines was when Samarth poked Abhishek to an extent that the Bigg Boss 17 finalist ended up slapping him. This evoked lot of debate on social media and many fans supported Abhishek’s action. Though it was a breach of contract and Abhishek was evicted from the show, later on, Salman Khan broke down the episode, and brought Abhishek back into the house, thus giving him a second chance.

Content creator Anurag Dobhal made headlines time and again. Anurag questioned the makers for favouritism toward several contestants and he was constantly at war with Bigg Boss. After his eviction from Bigg Boss 17, Anurag accused the makers of suppressing information about his family. He even slammed Salman Khan for targeting him. Later on, Anurag posted a video on YouTube where he shared how the team kept him in isolation even after his eviction and that led to him getting suicidal. These accusations from Anurag got the Bigg Boss makers backlash.

The torture task led to a lot of havoc in the Bigg Boss 17 house. An ugly fight broke out between Munawar and Vicky after the former hid something that personally belonged to Vicky. During this fight, Vicky made some nasty comments about Mannara that led to many people slamming him on social media. What put Vicky in a bad light further was when he got into a physical fight with Munawar. This incident led to people expressing displeasure over Vicky’s actions.
