Just a week before the Bigg Boss 17 grand finale, actor Isha Malviya was evicted from the show. While she was amongst the top contenders, her actions in the last week were not very well received by fans.

After her elimination, Isha sat down for a conversation with Indianexpress.com where she spoke about her equation with her ex Abhishek Kumar, friction with Mannara Chopra, and more.

Isha Malviya was even seen strongly supporting her best friend Ankita Lokhande. Even though Isha is disappointed with her eviction, she calls this journey an “unforgettable experience”.

Talking about her nasty fights, especially in the last week, Isha said, “I don’t think I was wrong in the last week. It began with the torture task and we were called unethical there. I failed to understand what was wrong there. Any team that would have gone second would have hidden things. It has happened in previous seasons too. But maybe this time Bigg Boss had announced he would be biased so that’s what it was. I didn’t understand the eviction either. Also, my issues with Mannara were there. She has never hesitated to point fingers at any girl’s character. She started judging all the girls from the second week itself. She has said a lot of disgusting things and was never called out. But I was pulled up for one incident and in the coming week, I got evicted. I do not regret anything I said. It was a response to everything I was told. If anyone speaks to me like this in real life, I will speak like that.”

Expressing displeasure at her eviction, Isha even claimed that Arun Mashettey does not deserve to be in the finale. “I was expecting to be in the finale, considering the journey I had. I took a strong stand whenever needed, so I was expecting to be in the top. I feel upset that Arun has made it to the finale. Everyone else is justified, but my input on the show compared to Arun bhai was much more. This is what I did not like,” Isha said.

Commenting on her rivalry with Mannara Chopra, the actor added, “I said those things because they were started by Mannara. I never initiated any fights. Mannara has said things to every girl in that house. It is very disappointing to see Mannara play the victim card and get the audience’s sympathy. I think even if I should have sat and shed a tear or two, then I would have been in the top 5.”

Reacting to claims about her being unable to move on from her ex Abhishek, Isha clarified, “I have moved on from Abhishek. There is no room left for anything. But yes, I do have a nature to let go of things and in that house, there is no escape. So you cannot avoid a person consciously. Even if I fought with Abhishek, the very next moment we were put together in a task. But if that came across as I have not moved on at all, that is not true. I don’t want a guy like Abhishek in my life ever.” Adding to this, Isha even cleared her remarks on Abhsihek’s condition of claustrophobia. She shared, “Yes, I told Abhishek that he was faking claustrophobia. I know Abhishek has an issue with going inside lifts or taking a flight. But whenever he does this, he is back to normal after 2 minutes. Even on Udaariyan, when there was a scene, he would just ask if the room would be closed and be okay with it. But on that nomination day the way he dragged things, I thought he overreacted.  When Munawar told him that he might get evicted due to this, he became normal. If your body has gone out of control, but you become normal when Bigg Boss makes an announcement, I don’t understand that. To me, it looked very calculated.”

Lastly, when asked who is Isha rooting for, the evicted Bigg Boss contestant replied, “I am supporting Ankita Lokhande not because we had a bond, but because I respect her. Even when people betrayed her, she stood by them. Everyone in the family week lauded her for taking care of other contestants. She was emotionally there and that impressed me a lot. She is not fake at all. The way she has managed her marriage and the game. Despite being pissed off, she is there in the game. So I wish for her to win.”
