TikTok star Taylor Rousseau Grigg addressed concerns about her health in a video shared just two months before her husband, Cameron Grigg, announced her death.

On Aug. 8, Taylor posted an eight-minute TikTok video, in which she answered fans’ questions about why she looked “unhappy” and whether that was due to her marriage.

“I know a lot of people have had a lot of opinions about my videos and some people have said I look unhappy … some people have opinions about what they think is wrong with me,” she began while sitting in her camper.

“The truth is, I’m not faking a smile like I’ve done in the past for the camera.”

Taylor told fans that she “enjoyed filming” when she first started becoming an influencer. However, she admitted that after a while, the “pressure to succeed” became too much for her to deal with.

She then addressed fans who believed her unhappiness was caused by her husband, Cameron.

“Cameron is the best thing that ever happened to me,” she gushed. “He dug me out of the hole that I was in … and he carried me, and is still carrying me, and has for a while. He’s a great husband and great guy.”

Taylor then revealed she “got sick” right after she and Cameron tied the knot in August 2023. Therefore, fans have been seeing her suffer from an undisclosed illness during the entirety of her marriage.

“It just feels like I have to fight for life, to live every single day and that’s hard on somebody and obviously that shows when I’m filming,” she said. itstaylorrousseau/TikTok

“I barely found out what was wrong with me, so I was just struggling that whole time feeling like I was going to die,” she shared.

“That’s exactly what I told Cameron the other day, it just feels like I have to fight for life, to live every single day. And that’s hard on somebody and obviously that shows when I’m filming,” Taylor added.

“I’m unhappy with the circumstances that my body is in but I’m kind of paying the consequences for my own actions for putting my body through more than it could handle.”

Over the weekend, Cameron took to Instagram to announce that his wife had died. She was 25.

Cameron then revealed that Taylor’s “earthly body” was “still here with us being ran by machines” so that her organs could be donated to other people in need.

“More than anything Taylor would want to know that she’s continuing to save people’s lives even after she’s gone from this world,” he wrote.
