Sharing why she chose to be a part of Bigg Boss 18, Chaahat Pandey said, “I wanted to be on the show for a long time. Until now I have just done fictional shows, but I wanted to experience a reality show.” Chaahat also revealed how she is very nervous about living with strangers. “I have never stayed alone with strangers, so even I don’t know how will I react in a situation like that. I am very strong mentally. I do judge people quickly so that can be my strength. I am very brave, but I end up crying very fast. I will try to control my emotions,” Chaahat added.

Sometime back her co-star Zaan Khan shared that Chaahat had tried to end her life after her dues were not cleared for one show. Talking about the same, Chaahat said that the issue has now been resolved. She said, “Yes, it happened in 2019. I am in a good space now.” Another reason why Chaahat made headlines a few months back was due to her constant fights with her Nath co-star Arjit Taneja. While she addressed this on stage and said that small differences would happen while talking to us, she denied the news and said, “That is fake news.”

After Chaahat Pandey walked into the house, Salman Khan asked her co-star Avinash Mishra about her issues on set. Throwing some light on it, Avinash said that Chaahat had an attitude issue. “She would say, ‘I am number one.’ It was this madam who had issues,” Avinash added.
