It’s going to be a musical night in the upcoming episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 as two of India’s most popular singers are set to be on the hot seat. In the promo videos shared by the makers of the quiz show, playback singers Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam can be seen spreading their vocal magic. The musical episode, filled with retro songs, is set to air on September 20.

In one of the promo videos shared by the makers, the singers can be seen crooning the title track of Shah Rukh Khan and Sushmita Sen starrer 2004 film Main Hoon Na. In another video, they can be heard singing one of the most popular songs of show’s host Amitabh Bachchan and his co-star Rekha, “Pardesiya”, from the 1979 film Mr Natwarlal. In the video, Sonu Nigam and Shreya can be seen being joined by the megastar himself, who too sings a line from the iconic song, making the crowd go berserk and clap in excitement.

For the event, Shreya Ghoshal opted for a beautiful black saree, meanwhile, Sonu Nigam can be seen sporting a red suit paired with white shirt. The makers shared another quirky video, where Shreya can be seen teaching Sonu a pose and he teasing her with the same. The text on the video read, “Just two besties who get to be on the hot seat together.”

Previously, Dr Abhay Bang and Dr Rani Bang graced KBC 16. The episode with Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam will premiere on September 20 at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
