Taylor Swift’s latest look is out of this world.
The singer, 34, continued to celebrate her wins after Wednesday night’s VMAs 2024 show by partying it up in a space-themed outfit while attending an afterparty.
Following the awards show, Swift headed to Electric Lady Studios in NYC, ditching her beaded custom Monse minidress that featured a UFO print for a more casual, celestial-themed set with the same graphics from the same brand.
The Monse corset, pleated mini skirt, and oversized tapestry jacket ($1,490) — the latter of which is currently available for pre-order — included a 1950s-inspired alien print that focused on blue, green, and other earth tones.
Swift kept her glam the same for the bash, wearing her blond hair down and rocking a smokey eye and orange-red lip.
Some sparkle was added to her look in the form of accessories, including a diamond horn earring from Rainbow K ($7,965), while black Vivienne Westwood boots ($1,270) provided an edgy touch.
There could be a reason for the artist’s space-inspired outfits: they appear to be a nod to her song “Down Bad” from her most recent album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Aside from including lyrics like “Did you really beam me up / In a cloud of sparkling dust / Just to do experiments on / Tell me I was the chosen one,” Swift performs the song onstage underneath a literal UFO during her Eras Tour.

The “Bejeweled” singer touched on the inspiration while speaking to iHeartRadio back in April.
“Like this girl is abducted by aliens but she wanted to stay with them,” she explained. “And then they drop her off back in her hometown. She’s like, ‘Wait, no. Where are you going? I liked it there, it was weird but it was cool, come back.'”
Still, Swift’s otherworldly duo of looks weren’t her only outfits of the night.
She initially arrived on the red carpet in a punk, plaid yellow corset ensemble from Dior with a different pair of knee-high black leather boots and strappy opera-length gloves.
We love all these looks to the moon and to Saturn, Taylor.
