She’s catching flights, not feelings.
Kathy Griffin defended using a private jet while traveling on her comedy tour, My Life on the PTSD-List.
“I joke that I’m losing money on this tour because of the jet,” she told the Hollywood Reporter in an interview published Thursday.
“I know it’s spoiled, but it’s worth it.”
The 63-year-old comedian noted that she gets to sleep with her “babies,” who are presumed to be her four rescue dogs, and “avoid” Donald Trump supporters who “still feel the need to come up” to her at airports and tell her “how horrible” she is.
Griffin was placed on the no-fly list for two months in 2017 while she was under a federal investigation by the Justice Department for posting a video of herself holding a mask styled to look like the severed, bloody head of the then-president.
Though the “Suddenly Susan” alum initially apologized for the incident, she later said Trump’s “unhinged” behavior justified the controversial image.

“I’m no longer sorry. The whole outrage was BS; the whole thing got so blown out of proportion,” she told Australian morning show “Sunrise” in August 2017.
“So the picture happened, the outrage was ridiculous, I made an apology, and now in light of all the crazy stuff that [Trump] and this administration are doing … he’s unhinged.”
Due to the backlash surrounding the image of the former “Apprentice” host, Griffin said she paid more than $1 million in legal fees, became unemployed and her life started to spiral out of control.
The “My Life on the D-List” alum became addicted to prescription pills, primarily OxyContin and benzodiazepines, and even attempted suicide.
Griffin received more bad news when she was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2021, forcing her to have one of her lungs removed. Four months after her surgery, she declared she was cancer-free.
Earlier this year, the former “Fashion Police” host revealed she had to undergo a second vocal cord surgery in hopes of restoring her voice.
Despite the Trump drama and her health issues, Griffin is back on the road on her first stand-up tour since 2018.
