Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, known for his light-hearted entertainers, is seemingly taking on a rather serious theme in his next directorial, Kadaisi Ulaga Por. Adhi is also taking on the directorial responsibilities in the film, which also stars cinematographer-actor Nataraj, Anagha, Azhagam Perumal, Elango Kumaravel, Harish Uthaman, and Munishkanth among others.
The trailer of the film was released recently, and it has only added on to the intrigue of the Adhi venture, which is produced by the musician-filmmaker under his banner Hiphop Tamizha Entertainment.

The action-packed trailer has elements of political satire, conspiracy, terrorism, friendship, and an overarching sense of utopia mixed with grounding reality. This is the first time we are seeing Adhi in an out-and-out action mode with guns, bombs, bloodshed, and everything else. However, the final IPL vuvuzela music also gives us a hint about something different hiding beneath all these layers. Will this be a satirical anti-war film that also questions the political undertones in today’s society? Will this be a spoof film masquerading as a serious subject? Will this reflect the social consciousness of the multi-hyphenate talent at the middle of it all? All the answers will be out on September 20 as Kadaisi Ulaga Por battles it out at the box-office with Lubber Pandhu, Sattam En Kaiyil, Kozhipanna Chelldurai, and Nandhan, among others. ‘
