After delivering hits like the KGF franchise, Kantara, and Salaar, Hombale Films is all set to release its next big project, titled Bagheera. Originally made in Kannada, the film features ‘Roaring Star’ Sriimurali. Created and written by KGF and Salaar director Prashanth Neel, the film is helmed by Dr Suri. Months after having announced the film, the makers have finally revealed the release date of the action thriller.
On Thursday, Hombale Films took to their official Instagram handle to share the news. Sharing a new poster, the makers revealed that Bagheera is set to hit the big screens on October 31. They wrote, “The hunt for justice begins! #Bagheera roars into cinemas on October 31st.” The poster flaunted a fancy mask having fallen on the floor amid thunderstorm.

About eight months ago, on the occasion of Sriimurali’s 42nd birthday, the makers dropped a teaser, giving a sneak peek into Bagheera’s world. In the video teaser, Sriimurali, playing a cop, can be seen bashing several goons.

Apart from Sriimurali, the film will also star actors Rukmini Vasanth, Prakash Raj, Rangayana Raghu, Achyuth Kumar, and Garuda Ram, among others. While the story is by Prashanth Neel, filmmaker Dr Suri is responsible for the film’s dialogue and screenplay.
Hombale Films is known for producing larger-than-life films such as KGF franchise, starring Yash; Kantara, starring Rishab Shetty; and Salaar, starring Prabhas. Apart from Bagheera, the production house has prequels and sequels such as Kantara: Chapter 1, and Salaar: Part 2–Shouryaanga Parvam, respectively, in the pipeline.
Bagheera will be released in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
