Actor Rishi Kapoor would have been celebrating his 72nd birthday today (September 4) had his life not been tragically cut short in 2020 after a long fight with cancer. Nevertheless, he continues to live on through his loved ones, who have been sharing heartfelt posts on social media since morning remembering their beloved Chintu (Rishi’s pet name).
His wife, actor Neetu Kapoor, has also shared and reshared several posts on her Instagram stories that fondly recall her moments with him. One of her stories, in particular, has captured the attention of many netizens, as it features a sight that his dear ones would have cherished but never had the chance to see. The image, reportedly generated by AI, features Rishi planting a tender kiss on the cheek of his adorable granddaughter Raha Kapoor, the daughter of actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The picture was originally shared by Neetu and Rishi’s friend Pammi Bakshi Gautam, with the caption, “What could have been…💜💜 Wishing a happy, happy birthday to my dear friend Chintu.” Raha was born on November 6, 2022.

Earlier in the day, Rishi’s elder daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also expressed how much she wished he were here to celebrate his birthday with his granddaughters. “Baby Raha is the cutest — she is a mini you,” Riddhima wrote on Instagram.
The company announced the news on Tuesday, sharing on social media a video of Alia delivering a powerful monologue encouraging women to not let others’ opinions define them. “Because my worth is my choice,” she declares in the campaign celebrating women. “She (Alia) draws inspiration from the extraordinary women in her life and inspires others through her own journey,” L’Oreal wrote in the description.

According to the Hindustan Times, Alia Bhatt will represent the brand in its global campaigns, joining Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as another global ambassador from India for L’Oreal Paris.
