Hema Malini, who is known for her work as an actor and a politician, recently lent her voice to a few bhajans and was there to attend the music launch event of the same in Mumbai on Wednesday. She shared the stage with professional singers Anup Jalota and Nitin Mukesh and was also accompanied by classical flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia.

As Hema was encouraged to sing, she sang a few lines alone but then quickly asked the photographers to use the footage from their album. She laughed and said, “Aise impression kharab ho jayega.” She then continued to sing with the other singers on the stage.

In another video from the event, Hema was seen helping Hariprasad Chaurasia and holding him by the arm as they posed for photos. The 86-year-old flautist was having some trouble and Hema was quick to help him at the event.

One of her fans wrote in the comments section, “Beautiful inside out Hemaji.” Another fan wrote, “Hema Malini ji has so much kindness in her heart. I can see how she is taking care of him.”
