On Friday, a video of Abhishek hugging Neeraj post his win went viral on social media. In the video, Abhishek who was cheering for Neeraj among others, can be seen hugging the athlete and whispering something in his ears. He was also seen patting Neeraj’s back and hugging him all over again. Neeraj can be seen overwhelmed by the actor’s love and support.

Apart from Abhishek Bachchan, celebrities like Malaika Arora was also spotted cheering for Neeraj Chopra at the stadium.
Neeraj Chopra secured the second place. He was just few meters away from winning the gold again. Neeraj would have become the first athlete from the country to win two Olympic Gold medals in individual sports. Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem won the Gold medal with a new Olympic Record of 92.97m throw. Neeraj’s throw was at 89.45m.
Talking to ANI, Neeraj said, “We all feel happy whenever we win a medal for the country. It’s time to improve the game now. We will sit and discuss and enhance our performance.”
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in the film Ghoomer alongside Saiyami Kher. The actor will soon be seen in the film titled Shootout At Byculla along with John Abraham.
