Fans had a hilarious reaction to Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s collaboration in the song. Many called for ‘justice’ for Rajkummar Rao’s character Vicky from the film. In Stree, Vicky was interested in Shraddha’s character and pursued her throughout the film. Referring to his character, a fan wrote, “JUSTICE FOR VICKY 😂👻.” Seeing Varun and Shraddha’s chemistry, a fan wrote, “VICKY IS FEELING HEART BROKEN WITH 99 OTHERS.” Fans were also excited to see the duo together, who have worked in films like Street Dancer 3D, ABCD 2 and Nawabzaade. A fan wrote, “This is the reunion we was waiting for, we love u @varundvn @shraddhakapoor ❤️.”

Shraddha also made a cameo appearance as her character Stree in Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya, the second film of Dinesh Vijan’s production house Maddock’s Supernatural Universe. After Bhediya, the production house released Munjya, which was also a hit like its predecessors. Now, the makers are eagerly awaiting the release of Stree 2 on August 15. Apart from Shraddha and Rajkummar, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles.
