Vikrant Massey, who is presently promoting his upcoming film Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, recently opened up about unsavoury fan encounters and shared that he gets into an argument with people who start recording him without his consent. Vikrant shared that he was once at an airport where someone started recording him with blatant disregard for his privacy and he had to actually call out the person for his action.

Talking to Mashable India, Vikrant shared, “Unfortunately… I shouldn’t be saying this but I get into a lot of arguments with people who start recording you secretly when you are eating or picking groceries with your wife and your staff and they go live.” Vikrant said that one might be relaxed in their own space so it puts them in an awkward position.

He then recalled the incident at an airport and shared, “The other day, I was going through a security check [at the airport]. I had tucked in my T-shirt and there was someone who had just crossed the security check and he was standing there recording me. I said ‘Aap zoo mein aaye ho kya? (Are you visiting a zoo?) Have some dignity.’ You ask and I will click a photo with you and I will do it happily, there is no problem in that. But the moment you don’t respect someone’s space…” Vikrant said that it is “not right” to record someone without their consent and said that fans should respect their space.
