Bigg Boss OTT 3 is ending on a high note as it gets ready to crown the winner in the grand finale. While this season of the popular franchise failed to impress the audience, it had its share of ups and downs with Ranvir Shorey, Naezy, Kritika Malik, Sai Ketan Rao, and Sana Makbul emerging as finalists. While Ranvir made it to the top 3, he couldn’t continue in the race and has now been evicted. Ranvir Shorey has emerged as the second runner-up, leaving Sana Makbul and Naezy as the top two contestants.
Ranvir’s journey on the Anil Kapoor-hosted show has been an interesting one. His initial days in the game were not that encouraging, but he eventually emerged to be a strong contender on the show.

A few days into the game, Ranvir was often seen contemplating if he had made the right choice by entering the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house. Before entering the house, he had told indianexpress.com, “I get a call from Bigg Boss every year, but due to some reasons, I was unable to participate. This year my son is going to the US to spend his summer vacations and I had no major work. The second reason I think is I badly needed a detox from screens. Everything clicked and fell into place. My family and friends understood my reasons for doing it and also I am old enough to own up to decisions and consequences. ”

On the show, though Ranvir had a few friends, he was always very cautious when it came to forming bonds. From the very first day, the Bigg Boss OTT 3 finalist did not get along with Sana Makbul. He also developed a strong dislike towards Shivani Kumari, Vishal Pandey, and Lovekesh Kataria. While Ranvir was also very vocal and clear about his stand in the game, some good friends he found on the show were Sai Ketan Rao, Armaan Malik, and Deepak Chaurasia.

Even though Ranvir had his share of arguments with Shivani and Lovekesh, his rivalry with Sana Makbul was intense. During one of the tasks, both Ranvir and Sana indulged in serious name-calling. Ranvir also shared during the press conference that he doesn’t have a very good opinion about Sana and wouldn’t want to meet her after the show.

Ranvir called Sana Makbul manipulative, selfish and hypocritical. The two had another heated argument when Sana dragged Ranvir’s personal life on the show. She made some nasty comments about Ranvir’s divorce and also about his son, leaving the film actor very angry.

Making his way through all of this, Ranvir reached the end of the show. Being someone who never minced his words, Ranvir cleared the assumption that he was not in the game to ‘revive’ his career. During the media round when Ranvir was asked what would he do if he won the trophy and Rs 25 lakh cash prize, the actor had said that he wanted to use it for his son’s college admission.
Throughout the journey, Ranvir tried being himself and had the least amount of controversies to his name. Now as his journey on the show comes to an end, fans are eager to know what Ranvir has in store next on the professional front.
