Lalita D’Silva, who has served as a nurse to star kids such as Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan, and Anant Ambani, recently spoke about her experience of working with the Konidela family. Lalita is currently working with Ram Charan and his wife Upasana and caring for their daughter Klin Kaara Konidela. In a recent interview, Lalita said that the Konidela family was “warm and welcoming” and spoke about the difference between the star culture in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

While speaking to Hindi Rush, Lalita described Ram Charan and Upasana as “hands-on parents” and the Konidela family as “warm and welcoming.” “From Ambani family to the Konidela family, they’re all the the same. There is no difference. They are warm and welcoming. The only difference is that of their eating habits because of their South Indian roots,” she shared.

Lalita, who gained immense popularity as Taimur’s ‘nanny’, a term she despises, praised the Konidela family for their humility and kindness. Lalita said, “Everything about the family is very good. If I have to rest, then Upasana madam takes care of the child. Since I am here and they are in London, Ram Charan sir and Upasana ma’am are taking care of their child. They are hands-on parents.”

Heaping praises on Upasana,  she said, “Upasana is the chairperson of such a big chain of hospital like Apollo and yet she is very down-to-earth. She will place her hand on my shoulder and ask, ‘Did you have your tea?’ In fact, the entire family is extremely normal. It is not like they will forcefully ask you to stand and take care of their baby. They told me, ‘Aap outstation se aaye ho toh treat us like your family‘ now they’re my family.”

Lalita, in the same interview spoke about how the paparazzi followed Taimur and often invaded his privacy, revealing that Indians all across the globe, are “obsessed” with Saif and Kareena’s son. However, she stressed that the paparazzi culture is not as bad in Hyderabad. “The paparazzi culture is very strict there unlike Bombay. We keep stepping out and the crowd is not as crazy as they’re in Mumbai. Wahan maine aisa pagal crowd nahi dekha jaisa Bombay mein hai. Wahan bhi media pareshan karti hai par handle kar lete hain karne wale,” she added.
