Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut is no stranger to controversy. She often makes headlines with her outspoken views on politics, films and society. Recently, she attended Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan’s wedding reception, months after making critical remarks about Aamir and accusing him of changing loyalties after her legal battle with Hrithik Roshan.

Kangana was all smiles as she arrived at the venue. The actor, all decked up in pink lehenga, posed for the shutterbugs. Kangana also said, ‘Jai Shree Ram.’ The Tejas actor took to her Instagram stories and dropped a picture with Aamir, Ira, husband Nupur Shikhare, and their family.

Kangana had previously shared a video clip from Aamir’s show Satyamev Jayate, and said that she was once very close with him. She wrote on social media, “Sometimes I recall the time when Aamir Sir was my best friend… I don’t know where those days have gone. One thing is for sure that he has mentored me, appreciated me, and shaped a lot of my choices, before Hrithik did that legal case on me. Post that they made their loyalties clear – it was one woman against entire industry.”

The actor had taken to X (formerly Twitter) earlier called Aamir ‘bechara’ and reminded him of her multiple National Film Awards after he suggested Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, and Alia Bhatt for portraying Shobhaa De on-screen.  In the video clip shared by the actor, when Shobhaa De suggested Kangana’s name, Aamir had said, “She is a strong actor. Versatile is the word for her. She does comedy well, drama well…”

Who’s who of Bollywood graced Ira and Nupur’s reception last night. From Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to Saira Banu and Rekha, it was a star-studded night at the NMACC. Ira and Nupur tied the knot in Udaipur on January 10th. Ira is Aamir and his first ex-wife Reena Dutta’s daughter.
