While most Bollywood stars, musicians, and sports personalities attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding in Mumbai, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were enjoying some quiet time in London. Recently, a video of the couple at a kirtan by Krishna Das at Union Chapel has been circulating on social media.

Krishna Das, originally named Jeffrey Kagel, is a disciple of Neem Karoli Baba. Both Anushka and Virat are devotees of Neem Karoli Baba and have also visited him in Vrindavan. Krishna Das began his spiritual journey in the 1960s after traveling to India and becoming a disciple of Neem Karoli Baba. In the viral clip, the star couple is seen smiling at the kirtan.

After welcoming their son, Akaay, in London in February 2024, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have been spending most of their time in England’s capital city. In fact, after winning the T20 World Cup in the West Indies, Virat returned to India to participate in the victory parade at Mumbai’s Marine Drive and immediately flew to London after the parade to be with his family. Earlier, the couple was also spotted at a kirtan organised at the ISKCON temple in London. Rumours of them permanently moving to the UK to lead a life away from the spotlight have also been circulating.

On the work front, Anushka was last seen on the big screen in Zero in 2018. She is set to star in Chakda Xpress, a biopic based on legendary Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami, directed by Prosit Roy.
