Alibaug, a beach destination near Mumbai, has become a hotspot for celebrities. After Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, now actor Kriti Sanon too has invested in property in the beach town.
The Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya actor has been increasing her real estate portfolio over the years and has now bought a 2000 sq ft plot of land in the celebrity capital of Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Alibaug, through The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL).
Speaking on her investment, Kriti Sanon said in a statement, “I am now a proud and happy landowner at The House of Abhinandan Lodha’s, beautiful development, Sol De Alibaug. Buying land on my own has been quite an empowering journey and I have had my eyes on Alibaug, for a while. I was pretty clear about what I was looking for – peace, privacy and a great investment addition to my portfolio! Even my father was impressed with this investment. It is a prime location, less than 20 minutes away from Mandwa jetty, right in the heart of Alibaug, so this opportunity checked all the boxes. What I appreciated the most was how easy HoABL made the process of buying land for me. There is no better time to invest in Alibaug than now!”

Kriti will now be Amitabh Bachchan’s neighbour. Bachchan, invested in the same project in April. He bought a 10000 sq ft of land in the same neighbourhood. Kriti, before investing in Alibaug has also invested in a commercial space in Bangalore and a villa in Goa.
Not only Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Sanon, Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan own a holiday home in Alibaug, which spans over 20,000 square metres and is a perfect setting for a relaxing weekend away and intimate parties. The swanky bungalow is worth Rs 15 crore and it comes with a pool and numerous outdoor spaces. Their daughter Suhana, even before making her acting debut, had bought a farmland spreading across 1.5 acres in Alibaug that cost her Rs 12.91 crore and became an “agriculturist”. The Thal village, where Suhana’s farmland rests, is a 12-minute drive from centre of Alibaug town.
Bollywood’s power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer SIngh too own a palatial sea facing bungalow in Alibaug. The star couple purchased the bungalow in Alibaug for Rs 22 crore in 2021, as per news agency ANI.
