Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has opened up about his daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding. Aamir said that his “emotion was like a shehnai”.
In a video, the actor said, “My emotion was like a shehnai. It’s an instrument which is actually played in shaadis. Shehnai mein ek quality hoti hai ki wo aapko thodi si khushi bhi deti hai aur thodi si udaasi bhi deti hai. Uska ek mixture hota hai emotions ka. Khushi bhi deti hai aur thodi se udaasi bhi hoti hai (Shehnai has a quality that it gives you happiness and a little bit of sadness. It’s a mixture of emotions. Makes you happy and sad both). So, that’s my emotion.”

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare had a registered marriage in Mumbai earlier this month. Later, the couple, along with their family members, flew to Udaipur, Rajasthan and got married in a white wedding on January 10.
Several pictures and videos from the wedding surfaced online, showing Aamir Khan and ex-wife Reena Dutta walking Ira down the aisle. The pre-wedding celebrations also included mehendi, haldi and a pyjama party.
Aamir’s elder son Junaid, younger son Azad, ex-wife Kiran Rao and nephew Imran Khan also attended the wedding.
