Actor Abhishek Kumar has had the most turbulent journey on Bigg Boss 17. Right from the first day, the baggage of his past relationship with Isha Malviya, also a contestant on the show, kept haunting him. Now with the reality show hurtling towards the end, their differences escalated when Abhishek slapped co-contestant and Isha’s boyfriend Samarth Jurel during a fight.

Now, during the family week, he was paid a visit by his mother Sandhya. She spoke to indianexpress.com and claimed that everyone has been targeting her son in the house.

Talking about the slap incident, Sandhya shared, “I don’t see that as a slap. It was a reaction to an action, everybody knows that.” When asked if she felt her son was being targeted constantly, Abhishek’s mother replied, “Yes, Abhishek is definitely being targeted. Everyone is troubling him, they all come together and poke him.” However, Sandhya refused to comment on Abhishek’s fights with Ankita Lokhande.

She even went on to share how she and her husband not only felt angry and helpless when Abhishek had an emotional and mental breakdown on the show. “I was very angry when Abhishek was crying in the house. I was also upset and wondering why was it all happening. He was cornered in the house and all alone. We also felt very helpless,” she said.

When asked if she would accept Isha in his life if there is ever a reconciliation, she said, “I will never accept Isha in Abhishek’s life. I don’t think even he will want her back in his life. It was not fair on Isha’s part to drag their past on the show, especially if you are accusing him of things that have not even happened, it is very wrong.”

Abhishek has been on the constant radar of the housemates, especially after he was brought into the game again after the slap incident.
