Aamir Khan and his family are gearing up for a grand celebration as they prepare to mark his mother Zeenat Hussain’s 90th birthday. The special event, set for June 13, will see over 200 family members and friends flown in from various cities to celebrate the milestone.
A source close to the actor revealed, “Aamir Khan will fly in 200+ family members and friends from different cities to celebrate his mother’s birthday on June 13th. She has been unwell for over a year. Now that she has recovered and is doing well, everyone wanted to have a large get-together. Family and friends from all over India will gather to celebrate this special day. People are coming from Banaras, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mysore, and other cities.”
The grand celebration will take place at Aamir’s residence in Mumbai.
Aamir Khan shares a deeply special bond with his mother Zeenat Hussain. He often seeks her approval on scripts and films, highlighting her integral role in both his personal and professional life. Demonstrating his devotion, Aamir fulfilled his promise to take his mother to Mecca for the holy Haj pilgrimage.
In an earlier interview, the actor shared that he decided to take a break from his career to care for his aging mother, underscoring the profound love and respect he has for her.

During the media interaction, Aamir said, “When I am doing a film as an actor, I get so lost in that that nothing else happens in my life. I was supposed to do a film after Laal Singh Chaddha called Champions. It’s a wonderful script, a beautiful story, and it’s a very heartwarming and lovely film. But I feel that I want to take a break, be with my family, with my mom, my kids.”
