In response to the frequent online trolling of Studio Green regarding the changing release dates of highly anticipated films Kanguva and Thangalaan, producer Dhananjeyan has come forward to defend his collaborators. The ongoing speculation and criticism have led Dhananjeyan to address the issue publicly, urging critics to trust the judgment of the production team.

Taking to Twitter, Dhananjayah wrote, “I see a lot of posts & trolls regularly on the release date announcement of #Kanguva & #Thangalaan tagging me. Guys, chill.” His message highlights the significant financial investments and the careful planning that go into deciding the release dates of such high-budget films. “A Producer, who invested hundreds of crores knows when to release his films, to maximise revenues & minimise the risk,” he explained.

I see a lot of posts & trolls regularly on the release date announcement of #Kanguva & #Thangalaan tagging me. Guys, chill. We understand your enthusiasm but a Producer, who invested hundreds of crores knows when to release his films, to maximise revenues & minimise the risk.…

Addressing the trolls directly, Dhananjeyan requested them to refrain from offering unsolicited advice, criticism, and comments. Instead, he appealed for their support and patience until the official announcements are made. “So please stop advising, criticising & commenting. Do support us when we announce & until then please chill and wait for official announcement, than indulging in unnecessary trolls,” the producer concluded.

However, fans of Suriya hit back claiming that Kanguva should be released on Diwali because only then it will yield the expected results. “Sir ultimately it’s the fans and audience who are gonna watch n bring profits. If you fail to please them, you’re not going to achieve what you’re planning. Please take inputs from us n lock the Diwali date ASAP. The big budget allocated is for Suriya na n not for studio green,” a user commented.

Kanguva, directed by Siva, is the dream project of Studio Green as it is made on a huge budget. On the other hand, the filmmaker also has Thangalaan, another ambitious project starring Vikram and directed by Pa Ranjith. The makers are planning a good strategy to make both the films work, and hence there has been many change of plans.
