Rumoured ex-couple Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff might have broken up two years ago, but they have remained friends, with Disha still being close to Tiger’s family. Recently, Disha took to Instagram to wish Tiger’s mother, Ayesha Shroff, a happy birthday. Along with her picture, the actor also penned a brief, heartfelt note for her.

In the photo that Disha shared, Ayesha is smiling at the camera with her hair untied. She is wearing a jacket. Lauding her beauty, Disha wrote, “Happy birthday my beautiful aunty. Love you.”

Earlier, Tiger Shroff’s sister, Krishna Shroff, opened up about her bond with Disha. Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Krishna said, “Disha is a very hardworking girl, very like-minded. She comes from a non-filmy family and has made a great mark for herself, and I respect that about her. She runs her own house; she is very independent, very responsible, and mature for her age. In today’s time, when women are very quick to bring each other down, she and I try and lift each other up. She is the person who would be there for me no matter what the situation. She has no judgmental bone in her body, so I have opened up about all aspects of my life to her. She is that friend who will be there for me and vice versa.”

Disha and Tiger were rumored to be dating for a long time before reports of their breakup surfaced in August 2022. On the professional front, Tiger was last seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The film bombed at the box office and didn’t receive good reviews. He will next be seen in Singham Again. Disha, on the other hand, will next be seen in the Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD and the multi-starrer Welcome to the Jungle.
